Consultation
We start by understanding your client’s vision, project goals, budget, and timeframe. This ensures we’re aligned with your brief from the outset, enabling you to present a clear, well‑structured proposal. We’ll also outline our process, confirm deliverables, and establish how we can best integrate with your workflow.
Site analysis
If required, we undertake an in‑depth site assessment to record existing conditions - including orientation, built element locations, setbacks, heights, and levels - and gather other relevant property data. This provides you with accurate site information to support confident design decisions. (Note: this is not a feature & levels or re‑establishment survey.)
Concept
Based on the brief and site opportunities and constraints, we prepare an initial layout plan showing key design ideas, hardscape arrangement, planting zones, preliminary finishes, and 3D visualisations of key views. This gives you a strong foundation to present design intent to your client.
Design development
We refine the concept in collaboration with you, incorporating client feedback and resolving functional and aesthetic considerations. This stage bridges creative ideas with practical solutions, ensuring the design is achievable and aligns with project requirements.
Final concept
The concept is finalised and documented with detailed outputs — including hardscape, planting, lighting, and irrigation plans, plus key elevations, sections, and a material/finishes schedule. These deliverables are presentation‑ready for your client and accurate enough to obtain quotes or council feedback.
Working drawings
We prepare comprehensive construction documentation for authority applications and on‑site delivery. These drawings specify dimensions, extents, construction methods, and demonstrate compliance with relevant planning and building requirements. They can also form part of your contract documentation with the client.
